Korda hardly ever mentioned what his images could depict or mean
- he left it upon the viewer to seek his/her own
While always valid for his paintings, this reminder will stand

And this painting - to me it somehow brings this to MY mind:
"Like with their fingers pointed upward, crowded modern
cities keep rising. This could be NY, of course - or Shanghai,
Buenos Aires or Kuala Lumpur - all rising up alike, after all."
